 The Benjamin William Mkapa HIV/AIDS Foundation (BMAF) is a Trust and not for profit organization with a vision to be a hub of innovation in quality health services delivery in Tanzania. Its strategic focus areas is to strengthen prevention, care & treatment of HIV/AIDS; Maternal New Born health; Human Resource for Health and build its institutional capacity for technical leadership and sustainability.

 To implement its 5 years Strategic Plan (2013 – 2018), BMAF seeks for a committed, self-driven, dynamic and competent qualified candidates to fill the vacancies below:

Internal Auditor (IA)

(1 Year Contract)

BMAF is looking for a fully hands on Internal Auditor to provide internal audit, risk management and corporate governance services.

  • You will provide assurance that an organisation’s main business risks are being managed and that its internal control framework is operating effectively.
  • Additionally, the IA will provide independent and objective opinions on the Foundation’s operations and reports these regularly to the Audit & Finance Committee, Board and Management.
  • You will entail the conducting of operational and financial audits, systems reviews, process reviews and projects across various departments.
  • You will ensure that the Audit programs are reviewed and signed off by management
  • You will be responsible for the security of the audit files and working papers and ensure that they are safely stored
  • You will have the opportunity to provide a risk-orientated but practical review of operational controls and will have to advice on significant ways to improve control and processes.

The ideal candidate should have a First Degree in Accounting and Finance and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), with 4-6 years of experience in audit, investigative auditing skills, knowledge of risk management, corporate governance concepts, models and controls. It is essential that you have the ability to build effective relationships with other departments, You should be self-motivated and have the ability to work on your own in order to complete the audit plan.
